Prayer Letter

August 27^th 2009

Dan is looking forward to going to Ukraine Sept 6th on a trip that will end on the 20th.

The first event is a 5 days school called Training the Trainers, in which we draw teachers and leaders together and teach them how to teach and preach Biblical values. This would include preparation of teachings, personal preparation for the leader, and practicalities of delivery. We have 90 leaders and future leaders registered for this school. I will then do a 2 day pastors conference for leaders in a city of south Ukraine called Dniperprozhinsk (If you can pronounce that you get an extra jewel in your crown in heaven.) On September 13th I will be speaking at the 3rd anniversary of Igor and Ira Garmazonovs church in Boyarka. Many of you remember Igor and their church is doing very well, as well as the Christian school they have established.

From the 14th to 16th we have our Partners in Harvest council meeting with our 5 couples where we will pray together for and discuss the strategy and schedule for the next year.

On Sept. 17th on the way back to Canada I stop in Prague, Czech Republic for 4 days to help lead a pastors conference. The Czech leader of this conference is the son of one of the main Christian leaders who led the underground church during the Soviet occupation. They are expecting about 500 pastors and leaders at this conference. I arrive back home Sept. 20th.

As you can see there is a lot of traveling and ministry in these 2 weeks. Please pray for strength and the anointing of the Holy Spirit as I minister. Gwen will be active in getting our two youngest, Oksana and Shekanah back into a school routine while I'm gone. Thanks for all prayers and support.
