Brian and Kim completed 18 years of service in Benin with SIM Canada. The Lord has given them 3 sons, Eric, Jonathan and Nicholas. Earlier in June of this year, Jonathan graduated from High School. Future education for the boys is now a major concern for Brian and Kim. They have had an effective ministry in Benin over the years in the administration as well as church planting and leadership training areas.
They left Benin early in the morning on June 13th 2008, headed for Montreal. They then had a 6 month "home assignment" (furlough) period during which time they have visited supporters and supporting churches as well as prepared for their present ministry. They wrote, "We fully intend to remain with SIM as full-time missionaries in the province of Quebec. As was our situation in Benin, we will continue to require monthly financial and prayer support. Together, with you, we believe that God can use us to have a positive influence in the province of Quebec."
Along with evangelism, they will be involved in "seminars preparing people for long or short-term service overseas."
